Draw lima evenly-spaced dots along the center line. Use a ruler to measure the width of the stack of paper. Divide this number by dua to determine the halfway point. Use a pencil to draw a faint vertical line that extends from the top to the bottom of the stack at this halfway point. Use an awl to punch holes in each of the marked spots along the center line. Press the awl firmly down into the cover and through the stack of pages at each of the hole markings.[6]Pick up the stack of pages to make sure the awl has passed through the innermost page. If it hasn’t, lay down the stack of pages and press the awl into the same spot, applying a little more pressure to puncture all of the pages.Make sure you run the holes straight down through all of the pages. Don’t hold the awl at an angle or wiggle it around; keep it perpendicular to the surface of the pages.

Thread a needle with a single strand of waxed thread. Start with pre-waxed thread or use linen thread and wax it using a piece of beeswax. This will help the thread slide more easily between the pages. Thread this onto a hand-sewing needle.[7]Don’t double-up the thread; you just need a single layer of thread to stitch the binding.There’s no need to tie a knot at the end of the thread. You’ll be tying knots later on.

Bring the needle up through the middle hole to begin the saddle stitch. Start with 5 holes punched along the center line and the cover facing you. Bring the needle up in the middle through the third hole. Leave the end of the thread as a tiga in (7.6 cm) tail in the inside of the notebook.[8]Don’t pull the thread all the way through the hole. There’s no knot to keep it in place, so you need to leave a long enough tail on the inside of the notebook.

Pass the needle up and down through the bottom dua holes. Hold the tail down with your finger so the thread doesn’t come loose. Then guide the needle down through the fourth hole and up through the fifth hole, working your stitches towards the bottom of the notebook.[9]

Switch directions and stitch up the spine, passing through all 5 holes. Instead of wrapping the thread over the bottom edge of the book, switch directions with your stitches. After coming up through the fifth hole, insert the needle back down through the fourth hole. Then bring it up through the third hole. Continue working your way towards the top of the book. Pass the needle down through the second hole, and up through the first hole.[10]

Stitch down along the spine until you return to the middle hole. Come back to the middle by stitching down through the second hole and back up through the third hole. On both sides of the notebook, you should have thread passing between each hole.[11]Don’t stitch over the edges of the notebook when switching directions.

Knot both ends of the thread to finish off the binding. When you get to the middle again, create a simple knot by looping the working thread around an existing stitch and pulling it through the loop. Guide the needle back to the inside of the notebook by passing it through the third hole. Then tie off both ends of the thread in a double-knot.[12]Trim the ends short and your binding is now complete.When you bring the working thread to the inside of the notebook, tug on it to bring the first knot you created to the inside.

Fold the pages together and place a weight on the binding. Once the stitching is complete, you can remove the binder clips. To get the pages of your new saddle-stitched notebook to lay nicely together, fold the pages together to close the notebook. Use your hands to press the pages firmly along the spine. Then place a heavy book or another weight on top of the notebook overnight. This will encourage the pages to stay closed.[13]You can also try folding the cover to the outside to ease up the stiff new binding.[14]

Stack up a few sheets of the same type of paper for your pages. Choose one type of paper in a standard size. It could be blank or lined, plain white or colored, depending on your preferences. Stack these sheets together, making sure that they are all perfectly lined up and the edges are even.[15]Try printer paper for a quick and simple notebook.Use sheets of colorful construction paper, measuring the same dimensions, if you want a more durable scrapbook-style notebook.You could use drawing paper for a sketchbook.

Lay 1 cover sheet on top of your pages, and 1 cover sheet below. The paper you use for your front and back covers should be roughly the same size as your pages, but it can be slightly larger if you prefer. Place the front cover sheet on top of the stack, and slide the back cover sheet underneath.Try stiff pieces of cardstock for a sturdier cover or colorful construction paper for a softer cover.You could also try cardboard if you want the look and feel of a hardcover notebook.[16]

A boring heartless bloodless pseudo romance

Yet another movie that was made by people who think just because there are people who kiss on screen it makes the movie emotional or romantic! I think with a different cast it would have been mildly interesting… MILDLY but it doesn’t even come close to elliciting any of the emotional response you might expect from a good movie.

The plot Harga Notebook Medan goes from one twist to another without any other purpose than to surprise especially naive viewers and the tear jerker ending is a big yawn, even with the talent of poor Rowland and Garner who are completely wasted on the flat obrolan and cliché storyline.

The whole thing probably isn’t helped by Gosling and McAdams TOTAL lack of chemistry and forced acting but I can’t say it would have improved the poor plot any if the young actors had been even remotely close to the talent of their eldest.

For most purposes you may select a bound notebook, quadrille-ruled.A teaching lab may require tear-out duplicate pages for making carboncopies. An engineering or industrial research/development lab will likelyrequire a specific type notebook with prenumbered pages and places fordate and investigator’s and supervisor’s signatures on each page. Padsof tear-out graph paper or spiral bound notebooks without pre-numberedpages are not acceptable. It must be impossible to tear out a halaman withoutleaving evidence. It is safest to select something that is clearly labeledas a laboratory notebook.Preparing the Notebook

Please use a ball point pen for all entries, so that the marks willnot smear nor will they be erasable.

Put your name, a telephone number and/or address, and project name orcourse number on the outside front cover of the record. Put that sameinformation on the first laman inside, or on the inside front cover. Ifyour notebook does not include a prelabeled table of contents section,then reserve the next several pages for a table of contents by labelingthe top of each page as Table of Contents and numbering eachpage. If your notebook does not have prenumbered pages, you may wishto use lower case Roman numerals, as in a standard publication. Next,number the next several pages with Arabic numerals in sequence, and youare ready to begin recording data.What to enter

Above all, it is critical that you enter all procedures and data directlyinto your notebook in a timely manner, that is, while you are conductingthe actual work. Your entries must be sufficiently detailed so that youor someone else could conduct any procedure with only the notebook harapan guide. Few students (and not that many researchers for that matter)record sufficiently detailed and organized information. The most logicalorganization of notebook entries is chronological. If a proper chronologicalrecord is kept and co-signed by a coworker or supervisior, it is a legallyvalid record. Such a record is necessary if you or your employer areto keep your rights to your discoveries.

Depending on requirements set by a teacher, superivsor, company, orwhatever, you may not have to confine your notebook entries to lab notesonly. On the other hand a student might record your group lecture notes,lab lecture notes, ideas, questions, library research notes, and notesthat are part of any pre-lab preparation. The bare minimum entries foran academic lab course, for each lab study, should include title of thelab study; introduction and objectives; detailed procedures and data(recorded in the lab itself); summary.

We usually record a lot more information in a laboratory notebook thanwe would report in a research paper. For example, in a published articlewe don’t report centrifuge type, rpm, rotor type, or which machine wasused. However, if a procedure is unsuccessful you may want to check tosee that you used the correct rpm or correct rotor. Perhaps the centrifugeitself was miscalibrated. You would need to know which machine you used.In a research paper one does not report which person performed whichtasks, because such information is useless to a third party. Howeverin the notebook it is important to note who was responsible for whatprocedure. Again, you may need such information to troubleshoot yourexperiments. Making entries

Someone else may need to consult your notebook sometime, so please makeyour entries clear and legible.

When you make your first entries of the day, start by entering the date,writing out the month or abbreviation for the month (e.g., 5 Apr ’04,or April Grosir Notebook Medan 5, 2004, but not 4/5/04). The use of numerals only can causeconfusion. For example, in Europe the day comes before the month. ThusApril 5, 2004 would be written as 5/4/04. When you start each new pageof a notebook enter the date next to the page number. Each halaman shouldbe numbered and dated consistently. Most of us use the upper right cornerof each halaman for date and halaman number.

Depending on how your notebook is designed you may choose whether ornot to use the backs of pages. If you leave them blank, put a corner-to-cornerline through them to void all blank spaces. Some people use the backsfor rough calculations, then void remaining blank space. You might alsodecide to save space (and trees) and use both sides of each laman. Obviouslyyou cannot use both sides with notebooks that are designed to make duplicatecopies. In situations where you turn in duplicate copies to a supervisor,you obviously must start each new set of entries on a new halaman.

Write a title for each and every new set of entries. Distinct sets ofentries should be separated by using informative headings and by leavinga single space or two between individual sets of entries. Specific informationcan be more readily located that way. For a new laboratory study, writedown a very brief introduction to the study, and list the objectives.If you have a specific hypothesis, write it down. The object is to makeit completely clear what you intend to do.

Record everything you do in the lab, even if you are following a publishedprocedure. For example, if you started by obtaining a quantity of tissuefrom an instructor, then write down that you obtained tissue, describeit, note how much, what condition, etc. How much you write down is upto you, but any relevant information should be there. For example,it doesn’t matter much if you received a chunk of liver in a red icebucket or a black one. However, it does matter that the materialwas on ice. If you change a protocol in any way or decide betweenalternative methods, then the correct information must be recorded inthe notebook. For example, a protocol for tissue fractionationmay recommend centrifugation at 9400 x g, but we may decide to use 12,000x g in the lab. The correct g force must be noted.

If you make a mistake, put a line through the mistake and write thenew information next to it. Never erase or obliterate an entry.When you finish a laman, put a corner-to corner line through any blankparts that could still be used for data entry. Every bit of every pagemust be legible and filled, either with information or with a mark thatvoids the section (see examples). The summary

When you have finished a project, summarize what you have accomplished.You don’t have to draw conclusions, just indicate what sort of data orobservations you collected, samples you saved (and where and how yousaved them), or any other relevant information that wraps up the study.For a continuing study keep the summary extremely brief. In fact, ifthe notes are well organized and it is obvious where the study left off,you need write nothing more than “To be continued…” Summarieshelp maintain continuity. They indicate where the work left off and howit might resume.OrganizationDoing two things at once?What if you are conducting two long procedures at once, each with longwaiting periods? For example, suppose you are conducting a protein assayand preparing a gel for your samples out in the laboratory. Back in thecell culture room, you are harvesting and processing tissues for primaryculture. Both procedures involve waiting periods, yet you will completeboth tasks by the end of the day.

Simply use your best judgment. You could divide each halaman into columnsand keep your two records side-by-side. You might date two consecutivepages, keeping both records separately. In either case, when you leavethe laboratory for the day cross out any unused parts of a halaman thatprecede the last entry.Continuation pages
